Railings
Residential and commercial railings are crafted with clear communication. Our team ensures timely completion. Choose from Vise Clamps, Base Shoe, or Stand-Offs styles.
Railing choices may vary and depend on the location, amount of support for anchoring, and fall hazards.
If there is more than a 6 foot drop or along stairways typically require the use of either:
Top Cap w/ Tempered 1/2” glass
Upgrade to 9/16” Tempered Laminated glass to avoid the use of top cap
Anchoring support is crucial for glass stability. Proper structures, like concrete or solid wood bases, are required. We will assess this during the quoting process to see if extra support is necessary. If it is, we will recommend the needed solutions to achieve your desired design.
Different Glass types are typically chosen based off the requirements and stability. All Glass Railings have a type of tempered or other safety glass. You may also choose different glass colors.
1/2” Tempered is your most common used.
9/16” Tempered Laminated Glass is an option for those who want a sleeker design and avoid the use of a top cap on the glass. When there is a fall hazard, 9/16” tempered laminated glass would be required if you choose to move forward without a top cap.
Choose from different options with 1/2” Tempered Glass, such as Low Iron or Acid Etched/Frosted glass. Low iron will have a bluish tint in the glass versus a greenish tint due to the clarification process, thus a clearer glass reveal.

Finishes on hardware may vary on some styles. You may choose from standard finishes such as Brushed Nickel, Chrome, or Matte Black. If the finish you want is not one of those, you may have options for powder coating cladding for base shoe. Ask our techs for options if you require a specialty finish.
